FIPLABS software

FipLabs is a software communication the user-friendliness of which allows the operator to implement all of the functions supported by the protocol WorldFIP without having to write a line code. FipLabs is an effective and friendly tool to create, check and analyze the industrial network FIP / WorldFIP.

Fiplabs is a fusion of Fipdesigner and Fipwatcher spybus software, it allows exchange of data between 2 system. See comparaison version.

FIPLabs presents several workspaces for the user:

1 - Design space to create the arborescence and the configuration of a network FIP WorldFIP

2 - Control space to control your local cards of communication FIP WorldFIP from the IHM

3 - Analyze space to analyze the FIP network with spybus FipWatcher (Option)

1 -1 FIPDesigner - Design space

.

With a system of drag and drop, it is fast to create a model of network. The software assists you and centres your parameters to obtain a coherent configuration and respecting the standard FIP / WorldFIP.

The software allows among others to configure any compatible station FIP / WorldFIP, edit variables and periodic or aperiodic messages, of able of bus arbitrator... Once the model was ended, it is possible to you to generate all the configuration files XML for every station (node FIP / WorldFIP) of the network. Remark: it is these files XML which will be used by the librairy FipCore to load the software context of the cards of communication FIP WorldFIP

Elsewhere, the model of network can be coupled with the device FipWatcher (spybus FIP).

The crossing of the data of the model with raw frames acquired by FipWatcher will allow you to realize a more precise analysis of your network.

1 -2 FIPDesigner - Control space

.

The zone "Control" of FipLabs allows you to associate the local FIP WorldFIP communication card with your machine with the model created in the previous zone (Design space). So, it it is possible to intervene manually from the IHM to the elements of FIP cards.

1 - 3 FIPWatcher - Analyze space

.

The space "Analyze" of FipLabs allows by means of FipWatcher USB spybus, to observe dynamically all the frame in transit on the bus.

It is possible with this module to make statistical analyses on frame, to reconstruct the macro-cycle, to find errors of diverse kind of error on physical layer, errors of decoding, losses of frame.

Frames can be export undre VTRC ( Visual Trace) file, and export under Excel.

By coupling the analysis with your model created previously, you can convert the contents of frames FIP / WorldFIP in mnemonics of diverse kinds (Byte, Bool, UInt8, Int8, UInt16, Int16, UInt32, Int32, UInt64, Int64, Float, ASCII, Hexa) and display evolution.

Mnemonics : Indispensable for visualizing the data of a temperature sensor or a pressure sensor for example. FIPLabs interprets the raw data (made of bytes) to translate them into data understandable by an operator, a temperature or a pressure for example.
