1 - Product description

The FIP <-> Modbus gateway is a segment of code written in C, open source, to establish communication between the FIP network and Modbus TCP (server). The provided example works under Debian/Ubuntu and allows to map periodic FIP variables produced/consumed automatically and respectively to "holding/input" MODBUS registers.

MODBUS and FIP configuration is done via a JSON file.

The code is provided in the PowerFIP package. Possibility to compile the code in the form of services (automatic start of the service...)
